Head of Operations - Financial Services (Collections) - UK BPO

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

REQUIREMENTS

You have extensive Financial Services experience in dealing with Collections within a BPO environment. You have least 3-5 years operational management experience on a financial services campaign. You have a track record of success in delivering productivity and revenue growth. You have a demonstrated ability in business development through networking. You have a Business degree or relevant company-based training.

You are competent in the use of Microsoft Office products. You have at least seven years management experience in customer service contact center environments of 500 or more employees. You also have quantifiable experience in managing offshore contact center portfolios. (Specifically, UK experience is highly advantageous). You have experience in outbound sales will be a distinct advantage. You have excellent understanding of the customer contact center industry and associated technological solutions.

Knowledge & Experience

You have experience in customer service/collections and/ credit management will be a distinct advantage. You have great knowledge of HR labour laws, managing contact centre performance in line with Sigma policies and procedures to meet performance targets. You are able to manage utilization of staff in line with the budgeted manning. You also manage costs to operate within budget and initiate cost-saving measures. You are able to identify and remove performance barriers to meet performance targets.

You manage the resolution of customer/ client problems and complaints, you maintain up to date knowledge of developments in clients markets, products and services You are able to coach, develop and motivate direct reports. You manage the recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance of employees and you ensure effective computer hardware, software and telecommunications systems are maintained.
