The key focus of the role:
This role is accountable for leading the development and implementation of a Personal Finance Talent Attraction, Acquisition, and Onboarding strategy to identify, source, assess, select, acquire, and onboard suitable talent to meet business demand in line with the PF business strategy, legislative requirements, and transformation plans.
Serves as a member of the Personal Finance HC Leadership team, reporting to the Executive HC Business Partner.
Role Description:
- Develop a Talent Attraction, Acquisition, Assessment, and onboarding strategy.
- Provides input into the overall People Management functional strategy.
- Ensures alignment with the Talent acquisition and assessment strategy, the PF business, and HC Strategy.
- Responsible for the design and implementation of sourcing strategies and processes to ensure that the required talent is identified, assessed, selected, and on-boarded.
- Works closely with various executives and across the value chain in leading PF segment workforce & demand planning.
- Customise the value proposition to be relevant to the Personal finance target context and target audience.
- Define the PF employer brand by leveraging alumni networks in the market and other sourcing channels and strategies.
- Apply data and analytics to optimize sourcing and drive quality of new hires.
- Monitors and measures the implementation and impact of recruitment and selection practices and governance across the segment.
- Responsible for the Induction and On-boarding framework, process and practice and tracking employee experience.
- Manages the e-Recruitment database, process and technology to ensure effective tracking of candidates.
- Leads the Talent Acquisition and Assessment function, building a capable and effective specialist team and managing resource allocation.
- Provides thought leadership, research, and benchmarks best practices in sourcing talent.
- Empowers and builds HCBP/recruiter and line manager capability to achieve Talent Acquisition outcomes.
- Ensures alignment and integration of Talent practices with other HC practices and drives innovation through technology.
- Contributing to a culture of data-driven talent decisions throughout the Talent Acquisition and Assessments spectrum, supporting OML objectives to attract and select high-performing, values-aligned employees.
- Minimum Diploma/Degree (Commerce/HC/Organizational Psychology) and/or minimum 10 years talent acquisition experience, with 5-8+ years leading Talent Acquisition practices and teams within a large business (3000 plus staff)
- Experience in Talent Assessments, covering a broad range of assessment products and service providers.
- A seasoned leader with a track record in successful implementation of large-scale transformation projects/initiatives, particularly shaping Talent Acquisition functions.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing specialist teams.
- Demonstrated experience in the recruitment of sales employees in the insurance industry and optimizing bulk recruitment processes.
Strategy Implementation
- Defines and implements the People attraction and acquisition Plan for the Business Units in alignment with the Segment business strategy and Segment People Strategy.
- Deliver customer and employee-centric outcomes as it relates to TA and onboarding.
- Provides input into the Segment People Strategy and contribute to HC synergies through continuous innovation and collaboration.
- Engages stakeholders at all levels (primarily internal) to ensure effective delivery of TA services to BU.
- Advises on people priorities for the future, using insights from HR/TA Analytics and trends.
