Requirements
Qualifications:
- Post Graduate qualification in Business Science or Finance
- Master's degree in finance or a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) will be an added advantage.
- Excess of 10 years experience in the Equity Markets
- Buy side and sell side candidates will be considered
- Minimim 5 years leadership experience
- KI experience is an advantage
Ensures that Institutional research is, analysed reported and delivered in an effective and efficient manner.
- Find a niche in the Institutional client environment in order to create a competitive advantage
- Oversee, guide and develop junior analysts
- Keep abreast of the external environment in which the segment operates in.
- Identify trends and advise stakeholders on the implications of these trends.
- Research, analyse and interpret market and customer data to provide a consistent and integrated view of the market targeted at the Institutional Client Base.
- Conduct trend analysis within the key market sectors to identify areas of opportunity.
- Participate in Morning Meetings
- Plan, direct and present analysis to demonstrate and enhance the value of our research ideas to existing and prospective Institutional and Corporate clients.
- Presentation of quarterly roadhsows
- Lead, build and provide direction and developmental opportunities to the research team within Momentum Securities.
- Where MMI allows, to identify opportunities to leverage off strategic relationships and alliances to build new investment or growth opportunities.
- Manage performance of direct reports and hold them accountable.
- Identify relevant development needs.
- Ensure transformational targets are met.
