Your mission is to build and lead a world-class sales team that achieves sales targets.
To do that youll help hire, onboard, train and support the sales team. Youll create the processes, disciplines and culture we need for AEs to achieve quota. And youll work closely with the AEs to coach and support them to become masters of their craft.

- AE Pipeline Creation
- Deal Economics (rate of discounts, ACV target achievement, etc).
- Achieving quarterly and annual quotas
- Building, managing and motivating a team of AEs, and helping them achieve their quotas.
- Driving a sales onboarding and continuing skills development program
- Managing daily / weekly / monthly sales activity and results for each AE
- Strategise deals & sales plans with AEs
- Ensuring we have excellent tactics & and processes
- 3+ years experience selling SaaS and a track record of delivery against ambitious targets
- Experience building high-performance sales processes and teams from scratch
- Experience working on ~R200-500k annual deals with multiple stakeholders
- At least 2+ years of experience managing a team of AEs
- Hands-on approach and genuine passion for closing deals
- Preferably worked in a startup of <200 employees
