The primary focus of this role is to maintain and cultivate key partnerships while driving sustainable financial growth through sales efforts, particularly across indirect marketing channels, with a strong emphasis on Africa. The individual will be responsible for nurturing existing relationships and establishing new partnerships. Success in this role will be measured by achieving both individual and company-set targets, requiring proactive sales strategies and strong relationship management skills.
How you can make a difference:
- Provide professional guidance to new and existing partners/direct clients.
- Develop the indirect business for the company, based on targets set by Senior Management.
- Source, acquire, and maintain B2B relationships for the company.
- Make suggestions and prioritize improvements to the B2B value proposition, while taking responsibility where possible to implement necessary changes for improvement.
- Negotiate and renegotiate terms with existing clients to ensure maximum output while remaining competitive in the space.
- Arrange meetings, either directly or remotely, with new or existing relationships.
- Travel to locations where necessary, such as B2B events and expos.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and support for any issues experienced by partners/clients as the first point of contact, while understanding relevant escalation channels where necessary.
- Ensure Senior Management is aware of any roadblocks or opportunities faced by the teams. Act proactively to provide solutions.
- Stay informed about the financial markets to spot trends, identify new opportunities, and establish credibility with our Partners by understanding their requirements.
- Work within CRM guidelines to log and organize the sales pipeline.
- Provide weekly updates to Management regarding the sales pipeline and progress.
- Follow business expense protocols for any out-of-office events such as seminars or other client meetings.
- Develop collaborative working relationships within the organization in pursuit of the companys overall business goals.
- Develop and implement the companys sales strategy across key market segments to ensure the company identifies and optimizes a clear path to aggressive growth.
- Assess, build, and manage an array of necessary channels capable of delivering on the companys growth objectives to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Manage business development opportunities that are consistent with the companys strategy for revenue growth.
- Minimum of 5 years of retail and/or institutional sales experience within financial markets.
- Excellent English oral communication skills are mandatory.
- University degree: B.Com, B.Bus, MBA

- Experience with trading systems such as MT4/MT5, IRESS, and others is desirable but not essential

- Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships and work effectively with cross-functional teams while remaining decisive and displaying sound judgment.
- Maintain professionalism in all internal and external communications. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
