Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Human resources, social or behavioural sciences or related field (Desirable).
- Registered as Industrial Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (Desirable).
- Postgraduate degree in Human resources, social or behavioural sciences or related field (Essential).
- Registered Psychometrist (essential).
- 10 - 15 years' experience within Human Capital (Essential).
- 5 years' experience in Organisational Effectiveness or Organisational Development (Essential).
- 5 years experience in leading a team of Human Capital professionals.
- Exposure to the development and implementation of organisational effectiveness interventions (Essential).
- Design and drive the implementation of development interventions that shape and embed the business culture and values that will result in effective strategic delivery in collaboration with leadership and other stakeholders.
- Design and implement diagnostic frameworks, methodologies and tools to understand existing and new strategic and cultural issues.
- Design and implement methodologies to measure leadership effectiveness and performance.
- Design, develop and manage interventions/programmes to improve the effectiveness of leaders.
- Provide coaching and develop coaching methodologies to improve effectiveness at individual and team levels.
- Utilise diagnostics to measure the level of employee engagement in the business, the driving factor of lower engagement in the climate and the development of interventions in collaboration with line managers to improve engagement.
- Develop and communicate a compelling Health Employee Value Proposition (EVP) that contributes to the attraction, stickiness and retention of talent.
- Develop wellness strategies to support leaders to enable a resilient and productive workforce in Health.
- Leverage insights to shape interventions that improve organisational effectiveness, performance and productivity.
- Develop and drive the adoption of frameworks and tools that will enable business to drive, implement and sustain solutions.
- Create and use diagnostic tools and monitor business results to determine the success of interventions and to design new interventions.
- Drive the implementation of interventions to address the concerns and opportunities identified from diagnostics.
- Develop and implement change and organisational development strategies and initiatives to support large-scale, complex organisational change initiatives.
- Develop and drive the adoption of frameworks and tools that will enable business to drive, implement and sustain talent management and succession planning frameworks and methodologies, to provide insight into talent demands, succession management, supply and retention of talent.
- Partner with business as a subject matter expert and provide advice on matters within area or responsibility.
- Craft and guide the implementation of organisational development solutions across the people value chain to solve business problems and contribute to strategic intent of the business.
- Create and leverage metrics to shape and inform solution design and impact metrics.
- Keep abreast of trends, legislation and best practices within the organisational effectiveness field to influence and shape solutions and interventions.
- Collaborate with the Human Capital (HC) team to identify, develop and facilitate organisation development programs and initiatives to address organisational development gaps in accordance with the organisation development strategy and equip Human Capital Business Partners (HCBPs) to drive organisational development interventions.
