A international company specialising in manufacturing of industrial equipment is looking for a 2IC to the HSE manager
You will be responsible for the health and safety of employees by assisting the HSE Manager in implementing and monitoring of the Health and Safety, as well as the Environmental Management system.
duties
1. Training of – staff, visitors etc regarding HSE
2. Work hand in hand with other departments to identify any HSE trainining needs
3. Processing of documents
4. Ensure the plant is audit ready
5. Conduct internal Audits
6. Ensure safety audits of the plants and technical working tools are completed as required
7. Perform Risk Assessment
8. Machine safety checks are conducted
9. Incident investigations
10. WCA documentation control
11. Implement HSE processes
12. Ensure HSE internal procedures are accurately documented.
13. Supervise security personnel

qualification
Matric
3 – 5 years’ experience in a related HSE role
3 years working in a manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures;
Experienced in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
