We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Environmental Co-ordinator to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing environmental, safety, and health systems, ensuring legal compliance, managing contractor compliance, maintaining plant visibility, and providing monthly reporting and analyses. 12
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, implement, and maintain environmental, safety, and health systems 3
- Ensure compliance with appropriate environmental, safety, and health legislation 4
- Prepare, implement, and communicate health and safety specifications for all contractors 5
- Maintain regular visibility on the shop floor and encourage management participation 6
- Compile monthly reports in designated formats 7
- Provide support to the General Manager and Managers as and when required 8
- National Diploma: Safety Management 9
- SAMTRAC 10
- B-tech: Safety Management / Masters: Safety Management (Ideal) 1112
- 5 years of experience in OHSE within an automotive environment 13
- 5 years of experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and auditing (OHSA) 14
- Good interpersonal skills (verbal and written) 15
