Reporting to the Branch Manager performance areas include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain existing business and customer relationships on specific accounts.
- Increase customer spend by selling across the range.
- Conduct process evaluations and introduce improvements and latest technology.
- Prospecting and New Business Development.
- Manage customer engagement, utilising the company's integrated Sales System.
- Meet with the Line Manager every Friday or as scheduled for progress updates and or strategy changes or focus.
- Manage product pricing and communicate price increases as they occur.
- Matric, essential.
- Tertiary qualification in Sales and/or Marketing is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 3+ Years of Sales/ Selling experience in the Industrial Sector.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office), essential.
- Open to SA citizens with a clear criminal and credit history.
- Valid unendorsed Drivers License is essential, with own vehicle (essential).
- Bilingualism essential (English and Afrikaans speaking).
- Must possess an ownership mentality and a willingness to take responsibility for tasks through to completion.
- Attention to detail, goal orientated, and a desire to achieve your objectives.
- Highly organised, good at multi-tasking, and able to deal with people at all levels.
- Knowledge of the Syspro System and or a similar ERP system.
- Good human relations.
- Sales skills must include CRM or sales process.
- Prospecting/Business Development.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety.
