Fitter

Position: Fitter - Mining

Location: Northern Cape

Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our mining operations in the Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing heavy machinery and equipment in a mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine maintenance on mining equipment such as crushers, conveyors, and pumps
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues on machinery
• Performing repairs and replacements on faulty parts
• Conducting inspections to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely
• Collaborating with other team members to complete maintenance tasks in a timely manner

Requirements

• Trade certificate as a Fitter or relevant certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Fitter in the mining industry
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
