Quantity Surveyor

Hire Resolve, a respected recruitment agency, is in search of a proficient Quantity Surveyor to join their client's team. In this role, you'll be crucial in overseeing and managing costs for diverse construction projects. Responsibilities include estimating, cost analysis, supplier negotiations, and ensuring projects meet budget and timeline requirements.

Responsibilities

• Produce precise and comprehensive cost estimates for construction endeavors
• Evaluate project specifications to devise cost-efficient strategies
• Engage in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure advantageous pricing and conditions
• Establish and oversee project budgets, adhering to financial protocols
• Monitor and manage project expenses during construction
• Work closely with project teams to meet client requirements
• Compile and present progress reports and financial projections to senior management
• Ensure all activities adhere to relevant regulations and industry benchmarks

Requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with civil engineering experience
• Proficient in estimating and cost control software
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Showcase excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Display meticulous attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy
