Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users and other developers to understand and deliver on business needs with a sense of urgency and importance.
- MS SQL Scripting, designing and implementing or reports and data extracts as per business requirements.
- Maintain and support existing data extracts, reports and processes.
- Assist in conducting root cause analysis and resolve data issues and report issues.
- Ensure high quality BI development work via standards, guidelines, quality assurance reviews and testing.
- Design and implement Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes and scripts.
- Validate data in databases and test solutions developed.
- Create specifications for the reports to be developed in order to support Business decision-making.
- General: When required perform any other duties necessary for the operational effectiveness of the company that is within your ability and scope.
- Customer service: Maintain a high level of service to customers (internal and external) according to service level agreements and within the service standards as set by the company. Provide timely and professional customer service to stakeholders.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Ensure full compliance to all processes, policies and procedures. Drive and challenge to do things in a better way which reduces waste.
- Quality control: Quality standards to be adhered to at all times.
- TCF: Ensure customers are treated fairly.
