Stewarding Assisstant
· Clean all kitchen areas and maintain a high standard of satisfaction, cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with laid down standards
· Clean all surfaces for e.g. floors, walls, ceilings etc. utilizing the correct cleaning agents and equipment.
· Clean dustbins and other garbage containers after each shift.
· Clean all equipment e.g. stoves, ovens, burners, pots, pans, fridges with the correct cleaning agents and equipment.
· Use the dish washer and other cleaning equipment in accordance with technical directions so as to obtain a long lasting usage of the equipment and a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
· Remove and discard all empty containers of any kind and deposit them into the designated area for removal.
Position: Commis Chef (general) x2
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Commis Chef (excluding any trainee experience) within a five or four star hotel. (NB!)
- Must have a formal chef’s qualification or similar.
Skills, abilities and responsibilities:
- Must have a passion for cooking.
- Must be strong in hygiene control and safety procedures in the kitchen
- Must be familiar with the costing and control of food and relevant stock
- Must have good communication skills at all levels
- To assist senior chefs with day to day kitchen operations.
Position: Pastry Commis Chef
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Commis Chef (excluding any trainee experience) within a five or four star hotel. (NB!)
- Must have a formal chef’s qualification or similar.
- Must have pastry experience and a passion for pastry
Skills, abilities and responsibilities:
- Must have a passion for cooking.
- Must be strong in hygiene control and safety procedures in the kitchen
- Must be familiar with the costing and control of food and relevant stock
- Must have good communication skills at all levels
- To assist senior chefs with day to day kitchen operations.
Junior Chef is also needed for an urban Restaurant in Honeydew
min 3 years experience, vibrant and innovative to work closely with Head Chef
