Under the direction of the Reservations Department Manager, and within the limits of the companys policies and procedures, to receive and accurately process reservation bookings or general inquires and to always ensure an effective and courteous service.
Tasks in this position would include, but not be limited to
RESERVATIONS
- Ensure all incoming emails, reservations messages are dealt with promptly and accurately
- Handling of quotations for requests that have been assigned to you
- Input all reservations accurately into the PMS system (Nightsbridge).
- Ensure that all reservations are handled efficiently through effective office operating systems.
- To be fully conversant with all property rates
- Communicating guest details to the property owner
- Ensuring all guests receive confirmation of their booking
- Arranging additional services when requested by the guest eg transfers, Chefs, any special requirements
- Meet and Greet guests at the properties (Cape Town & surrounds 20+/- Villas) ensuring a smooth Check-in & Check-out process daytime, evenings and weekends
- Dealing with all maters pertaining to the Villas when they arise
- Assisting with Company spreadsheets and agenda
- Taking responsibility for the company after hours mobile phone
- Experience in the tourism industry or tourism qualification advantageous
- Strong administration skills
