Job description
Propr is looking for two Housekeeping Supervisors to join our Cape Town Team.
What youll be doing:
- Ensuring our properties are cleaned to 5* standards
- Help to get our new properties deep cleaned so that they are guest-ready
- Working as part of our expanding housekeeping team
- Able to spot and report damages so that our team can rectify them
- Work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Interacting with our guests and doing so with a high level of professionalism
- Working hours: 08:30-17:30
- Each supervisor will manage a team of 10 - 15 housekeepers daily
- Will assign keys and company assets to housekeepers
- Complete spot checks of cleans
- Complete owner booking checks before owners arrive
- Conduct morning meetings with your team
- Ensure housekeepers are trained to Propr standards and conduct on the job training with housekeepers where necessary
- Give feedback to the Head of housekeeping daily
- Communicate well with ops managers and property managers
- You have great attention to detail
- You get things done
- Comfortable with technology
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- You have a smartphone with WhatsApp enabled
- High levels of personal hygiene
- Understand linen requirements
- Great time management skills
- Minimum 3-5 years hotel housekeeping Supervisor experience
- Clean criminal record
- Reference letters from hotels you have worked at
- Initial 3-month contract with the option to extend to a permanent contract
Monthly salary R7500
Sunday pay and Public holiday extra pay
Hours of work are from 8h30 - 17h30
