HR Analytics Expert - Your future role?
As an HR Analytics Expert based in the United Kingdom or South Africa, you will partner with HR and business stakeholders to provide data insights to enable business decisions and to create value for the business. You will employ Advanced Analytics tools and skills to deep dive on improtant questions; find and share data insights with stakeholders. You will leverage a strong domain expertise of HR Data and how it can be used in new ways to contribute to Business Impact.
You will report to the People Analytics and Insights Lead.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Share data insights, and provide advice and guidance to internal customers in a consultative way
- Understand how people insights can support and enable the execution of the HR and talent strategy
- Apply data problem solving skills to design and implement accurate Advanced Analytics solutions from concept to launch
- Empathize with internal customers to understand their needs, with a user centric approach and method. Co-create with colleagues and internal customers to identify the best approach that meets user, business and technical needs
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists on complex data analysis such as machine learning
- Provide advice, guidance and training to colleagues trying to solve analytical problems
- Exemplify best practices for data mining, such as CRISP-DM (Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining), data protection and Agile working
- Apply an understanding of Human Resources (HR) capabilities, processes and data
- Apply domain expertise in Human Resources (HR) data
- Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends
Your professional profile includes:
- Degree in business, economics, organizational psychology, information technology, data science or statistics
- 6+ years of analytics, statistics or data science in a corporate environment preferred, but open to more junior profiles as well
- Experience of working in, or closely with, Human Resources
- Experience working with financial or workforce data an advantage
- Data problem solving, Data storytelling
- Conception Skills (data/information modelling, testing, algorithmic optimization, prototyping, wireframing, )
- Strong data visualization skills, ideally with experience of Tableau or similar tools
- Excellent MS Excel, Google sheets or similar spreadsheet skills
- Knowledge in data programming languages, such as R or Python an advantage
- Ablity to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
- High numeracy and ability to work with financial data, producing accurate results
- Creative problem-solving skills. Can see the big picture and weigh alternatives against multiple considerations
- Able to working with uncertainty, such as incomplete data, and understand and communicate the implications
- Can-do attitude to leveraging data to solve business problems
- Excellent listening, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong customer experience mindset
- Fluency in English
