Job Description:
Direct and manage the total Human Resources support service function (administration, employee benefits, recruitment and selection, training and development, industrial relations, Social & Labour Plan).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Provide professional generalist HR guidance and support
Direct and manage the following:
o Labour Planning
o Recruitment and Selection
o Employee Relations
o Training and Development
o HR systems and procedures
o Employee Benefits and Employee Assistance Programme
o Compliance with all Employment Equity, Mining Charter and Social & Labour Plan issues
Minimum Requirements:
B Degree or National Diploma in Human Resources / Labour Relations
5 years’ experience in a Human Resources environment
3 years’ experience in a Human Resources supervisory/managerial role
Experience the Mining industry – an advantage
Valid Driver’s License
Computer literate (MS Office Suite)
Completed Executive or Senior Management Development Programme – an advantage
Other Skills/Competencies:
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Organisational and Mining Industry specific knowledge – an advantage
Leading and managing change
Proven application of appropriate labour legislation: BCEA, EEA and LRA
Quality academic report writing skills
