Reporting to the HR Manager you will be responsible for the accurate, responsive, and efficient all-around HR administrative service, which includes recruitment, employee compensation & benefits, HR/Payroll transactions, and the administration of the Training & Organisational Development division. Essential that you have a working knowledge of SAQA & NQF levels.
Minimum Requirements of the Role:
- HR National Diploma or Higher Diploma / Degree, or any equivalent HR qualification
- A generalist with a minimum of at least 8 years of proven experience in both HR and Training & Organisational Development
- Experience working within a Manufacturing and/or Automotive industry is a definite advantage.
- Understanding /experience working in a matrixed reporting structure is essential.
- Basic understanding and working knowledge of labour legislation, especially the BCEA, Employment Equity Act, the Skills Development Act, and B-BBEE Codes of Practice (Skills Dev, Element essential)
- Knowledge of HR practices, policies, systems & processes -essential
- Knowledge and competency in SAGE VIP and/or SAP - essential
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) essential
- Recruitment and Selection
- HR Administration and Management Reports: Administration of employee benefits (Pension, provident and medical aid funds) Administration of the employee leave database. Coordinates the termination process.
- Communication and Employee Benefits: Liaises with retirement fund administrators and medical aid consultants to resolve ad hoc and ongoing queries. Guides employees who may need help through the Employee Wellness Programme
- Performance Management: Assists with the tracking of the performance review process.
- Training and Development: Assists to compile the annual training plan for the Group. Compilation of the Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report. Arranges internal and external training in line with the training plan. Arranges and coordinate all legislative training and Induction for new employees. eLearning - acts as the Platform Administrator, Record-keeping of all training conducted and related expenses. Coordinates all learnership programmes Liaises with the SETA for mandatory and discretionary grants. Administers and coordinates the Employee Education Assistance Programme
