Role Purpose
Coordinating and executing of all Human Capital events and projects, through identifying and planning of work items, the coordinating of a of project and event schedules, tracking the progress of projects and reporting their results with the aim to meet the stated business objectives and benefits, in compliance with all relevant Governance, Risk and Audit requirements.
Requirements
- B Degree (NQF level 7)
- Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- 2-5 years experience in project management
- 1 years experience in communication management
- 1 years experience in events coordination
- Deliver project milestones within agreed time, quality, and cost specifications.
- Engage with stakeholders to determine event requirements and develop creative brief.
- Advise and guide stakeholders on creative event ideas, concepts, and logistics.
- Create and manage the annual events calendar by identifying all events for the year.
- Manage and coordinate the logistics (venue hire, transport, catering etc.) and communications (save the date, invitations, teasers etc.) of events together with Events, Communication, and marketing teams.
- Responsible to manage the service delivery and standards of service providers to ensure the successfully delivery on the event brief.
- Assist with Identifying, securing, and preparing sponsorships, speakers, participants, etc. for specific events in line with the event brief.
- Manage and control the RSVP management and registration of participants.
- Liaise with various branding, marketing and communications teams to promote the event and manage promotional activities.
- Provide on-site event support and coordinate staff and service providers to ensure the event runs smoothly.
- Deliver events within the agreed events budget, time and quality parameters.
- Track and control event expenses and perform post-event evaluations by producing reports for events stakeholders.
- Contribute the development of internal communication plan and calendar to effectively plan and coordinate internal communication initiatives and campaigns in line with HCBPs BU plans.
- Produce, coordinate, and distribute effective communiqus for the business and any other relevant audiences.
- Coordinate and disseminate general communication to staff as and when necessary.
- Timely gathering of information and articles for projects and internal magazines.
- Identify the most appropriate technologies for internal communication and collaborate with IT for the effective implementation of initiatives.
- Conceptualise, design, implement, execute, and measure a brief/project from a client and be able to brief relevant suppliers as such.
