Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to the entire Human Capital Team.
- Arranging interviews when required by the People Partners and Human Capital Manager.
- Assist with Human Capital Projects as and when required.
- Conduct onboarding & induction for new recruits and help new employees integrate into the organisation.
- Ensure new employees receive the Induction checklist, and associated information on their first day of employment and that facilities/equipment is readily available upon commencement of employment.
- Assist the People Partner with alignment of the recruitment plan with Employment Equity targets.
- Update the workforce plan profile on a monthly basis for Employment equity purposes.
- Assist with the submission of the EEA2 and EEA4 for each year.
- Able to take and draft minutes in a professional and understanding manner.
- Coordinate internal & external training requests, sourcing providers and book training dates.
- Arrange and organize all HR events as assigned, including team building sessions, culture workshops and more.
- Processes documentation and prepares reports on general HC activity.
- Coordinates internal and external training sessions and workshops.
- Maintains work structure by updating job descriptions for all positions.
- Collates all employee data for the monthly newsletter and reports.
- Maintains employee records and ensures regular audits of documentation are done.
- Assists with audits of HC information where required.
- Assist with HC monthly reports.
- Prepare headcount reports for the Team.
- Maintains the Corporate Calendar.
- Planning of internal and external meetings where necessary.
- Loading HC related invoices to SAGE.
- Preparation of birthday boxes for employees.
- Preparation of red boxes for new employees.
- Assisting with planning and implementation of Wellness week

- A diploma in Human Resources, Social Science or Industrial Psychology would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years work experience in a relevant human resources position.
- Sound knowledge of employment law and its practical application in the specific context.
- Basic knowledge of HRIS systems (Bamboo HR and Sage 300 would be beneficial).
- Good knowledge of HR input to change management processes.
- Well-developed IT skills, MS Word and Excel and very proficient in MS PowerPoint would be very beneficial.
- Experience of undertaking a range of tasks requiring a high degree of discretion, sensitivity and negotiating skills.
- Experience of working independently and on your own initiative.
