Responsibilities
- Foster a positive work environment and manage grievances to enhance employee satisfaction.
- Support hiring processes and oversee onboarding of new employees.
- Coordinate performance reviews and address performance issues with training needs identification.
- Optimize HRIS for accurate record-keeping and manage daily HR tasks.
- Support payroll processing for timely payments and ensure compliance with policies.
- Identify training needs and manage training programs with efficient record-keeping.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or related field; minimum 8 years of HR experience, preferably in FMCG.
- Experience with payroll processing, biometric systems, and shift patterns (PaySpace preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office and HR information systems; strong understanding of job grading systems.
- Knowledge of skill development initiatives, grant applications, and SETA submissions; familiarity with legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA).
- Previous experience in a unionized environment is advantageous; valid driver's license and reliable transport required.
