As the HR Manager you are required to take initiatives and provide guidance, support on all matters relating to ProjectLinks employees
Key Responsibilities
- Human Resource Plan. You are responsible for developing an annual HR Plan during the start of the calendar year that will address all the HR functions as indicated below.
- Workforce Planning. You are responsible for the process of analyzing, forecasting, and planning workforce supply and demand, assessing gaps, and determining target talent management interventions to ensure that ProjectLink has the right people - with the right skills in the right places at the right time - to fulfil its mandate and strategic objectives. You will do this in conjunction with the Business Units.
- Employee Wellness. You are responsible to put an employee wellness program in place to ensure that the ProjectLink workforce is healthy and capable of producing the highest possible output.
- Employee Relationship Management. You are responsible for ensuring that employee relationships are managed and provide feedback on any issues or risks that may affect employee relationships. You must also on a continuous basis advise management on ways to improve employee relationships.
- Industrial Relations. You are responsible for the management and maintenance of industrial relations that are applicable to ProjectLink. This includes investigations, disciplinary actions, representation at the CCMA, and employee litigation activities.
- HR Technology. You are responsible for identifying systems that may improve your HR functions.
- HR Measurement. You are responsible for the data collection, analysis and reporting of specific HR Metrics on at least a monthly basis.
- HR Services Delivery. You are responsible for HR services such as leave and timesheet administration, drafting of employee contracts, retrenchment, loan applications, employee files, HR correspondence, etc.
- Workforce Safety. You are responsible for ensuring that ProjectLink has a safe work environment. This includes the ProjectLink offices that need to comply with regulatory requirements.
- HR Compliance. You are responsible for ensuring that ProjectLink complies with all the HR related regulatory requirements, such as specified by the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, and other acts.
- Performance Management. You are responsible for the management, administration and implementation of the ProjectLink Performance Management System.
- Succession Planning. You are responsible for supporting the MD and Heads of the Business Units with succession planning.
- Employee Exits. You are responsible for administrating and managing all the employee exits.
- Talent Acquisition: You are responsible for the talent Acquisition for Head Office, Graduates as well as Consulting Business Unit. This includes but is not limited to sourcing, interviewing, appointment, and onboarding.
- Salary Benchmarking: Conduct Salary benchmarking and ensure employees are fairly compensated according to role and responsibilities. Advise on fair market compensation.
- Employee Events: planning, organizing and execution of employee events e.g., Year End Function
- Internal Communication: Distribution and management of internal communication channels including but not limited to Newsletter.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of HR functions, policies, and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with South African labor laws and regulations.
