- The purpose of the Payroll Officer is to ensure Payroll processes are accurately and timeously delivered and to report and maintain Payroll information as and when required.
- Grade 12
- HR Diploma/ Payroll Diploma
- 3-5 years proven payroll experience
- Proven numerical capabilities and manual financial calculations

- Compile reports as and when required and forward to relevant Manager.

- Process monthly /Weekly Pay slips if necessary.

- Ensure that the yearly tax tables and medical aid changes are done annually.
- Ensure that all documentation is filed correctly and in accordance to set standard
- Ensure that all personnel records are kept in accordance with statutory and tax requirements.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Resolve customer queries timely and accurately.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Update terminated employees master files correctly and in line with Company policy.
- Assist employees with medical aid changes, Pension and Provident claims and families with death benefits.
- Complete UIF forms as and when required and hand over to the relevant employees
- Submit payroll reports reports timeously
- Administer AA88 deductions, reconciling the deductions. Ensure timeous payments to SARS.
- Checking all inputs and ensure the final payments are processed timeously.
- Ensure that all filing is stored in the share drive.
- Handle all payroll related queries.

(cc) Calculation of retrenchments and work back agreements
(dd) Responsible for HR Communication via employee news
(ee) Process advances on SAP
(ff) Monthly reporting
(gg) Ensure payroll calculations are done correctly
