Position Summary

We are now looking for a Human Resources Business Partner for our Marketing department based in Bryanston.

As an HRBP your primary role is to support the Lead HRBP in the development and implement the HR strategy in collaboration with the local Business Units strategy to ensure that they form a coherent whole. The HR strategy is translated into a set of HR plans (People Plan) that remain integral to the particular Business Units plans.

A day in the life of an HRBP:
  • Support the execution HR Strategy: To implement and support the Lead HRBP to implement people strategies and plans in order to provide flawless execution of HR initiatives.
  • Organizational Design & Development (OD&D): To provide support to the Lead HR Business Partner in the execution of all initiatives, particularly Employee Relations, Employee Wellness as well as Talent & Sourcing, including administrative support. To support and coach line managers in the implementation of core People processes. Work with leaders to enhance current and future functional and leadership capability needs.
  • Performance & Talent Management: Ensure Performance and Talent Management drive the achievement of business goals through objective and development plan setting, performance calibration and talent development. Coordinate the talent review/calibrations to ensure high performance is rewarded and developed in line with the Management Development Cycle. Support the Implementation of the various business units succession and talent management plans that support business goals. Ensure People Managers use tools effectively to assist individual and team performance improvement at all levels. Coaches others to interpret, apply and communicate Total Rewards principles/policies/strategies.
  • Employee Engagement: Support the maintenance of effective win-win working relationships with managers and employees through an environment that fosters communication and co-operation. Promote and foster a culture and environment that is productive, open, empowering, safe and equitable and coach others to behave and make decisions in line with Nestl Ways of working. Responsible for compliance in HR (policies and practices).
  • HR Organizational Alignment: Support the Lead HR BP to be the gateway for the business into the HR function that ensures Line Managers and Employees understand the HR model and can quickly and efficiently access solutions. To coordinate delivery of and providing business support, to ensure delivery of end-to-end HR service for the Business Units.
  • Functional Development: Utilise continuous improvement in HR to develop functional efficiencies and ways or working.
What Will Make You Successful
  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • 2 - 3 years experience in a HRBP function
  • Experienced in the following: Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Recruitment/Resourcing.
  • Knowledge of the change management practices and how the effective use of organisation design, development and business transformation techniques work.
  • Sound general knowledge of employment law with strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Success leading, coaching, and developing people in a high performing team environment e.g. performance management etc.
  • Effective influencing and coaching of line managers.
  • Projects experience.
  • Worked within a Matrix environment, achieving results through effective influencing and collaborating
  • Range of experiences supporting different parts of the business in order to develop broad business acumen.
  • Understanding of HR Market Trends with solid analytical skills
