Vacancy for a HR clerk at Mossop-Western Leathers, situated in Wellington, Western Cape.
Job requirements:
- HR Diploma/Degree at an accredited institution
- At least 2 years relevant HR administration experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of the various labour law governing the workplace including the BCEA, EE, SDA, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer Literate (MS Office), knowledge of Payroll & Clocking Systems
- Integrity, confidentiality, organized and accurate.
Job responsibilities:
- Administer TNA clockings system. Collation and preparation of weekly timesheets and all other admin related input.
- Assist with recruitment process of wage employees, including employee screening, induction, contract preparation and monitoring. Ensure all contracts are renewed and extended timeously.
- Weekly reporting of overtime, production stats, absenteeism. Monitoring of absenteeism.
- Assist with general HR and wage related queries.
- Administrate wage employees’ benefits, i.e. Sick Fund, Provident Fund, etc.
- Maintain an effective system for wage employee files, update employee files, monitoring of contracts.
- Assist with Occupational Health and Safety documentation and WCA claims, including weekly clinic visits.
- Assist with co-ordinate and administration of training programmes, including Learnerships.
- Assist with ad hoc HR project/s within the department.
