Job Description
The Human Resources Director will be responsible for the following:
- The full HR function including:
- Compensation and Reward Management
- Talent Acquisition and Retention
- Human Resources Development
- Benefits Administration
- Employee Relations
- Organisational Development
- Policy development and Planning
- Transformation
- Employment Equity and Diversity Management
The successful Human Resources Director should have the following:
- Strong Human Resources experience at a senior management level of at least 7 years
- Strong Human Resources experience at a director or executive level of at least 5 years
- Relevant Human Resources qualification such as HR Management, Industrial Psychology or any other post graduate degree relevant
- A postgraduate leadership or business management related qualification would be highly beneficial
- Must be results driven and able to manage and lead a large team
- Must have been at the capacity of overseeing and managing a minimum of 6, 500 employees(non negotiable)
- Must come from a JSE listed business(non negotiable)
- Must have direct Retail, Business retail, FMCG retail or Banking retail experience(non negotiable)
- Must have experience at a board level
- This is an equity position so only open to Black, Coloured and Indian candidates
- Must be South African
- Must be happy to be based in Cape Town
