Who are we looking for:
We are looking for a motivated Human Resources graduate to assist our HR Managers by performing in-house daily maintenance of HR functions at required clients.
The candidate must be someone who has excellent theoretical understanding of HR, and is looking for practical experience in the field. This opportunity will afford the candidate a holistic experience by delving into various areas of HR, whilst being mentored and guided by two experienced HR practitioners.
We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, can work under pressure, problem solver and has excellent communication skills.
What will you do on a daily basis?
- Recruitment duties include: job posting, communication with clients for shortlisting, communication with candidates to arrange interviews.
- Start the Induction procedure for each new recruit and move through each item in the checklist to see it through to completion.
- Set up probation period checks, and populate documents with information provided during the probationary period.
- Assist in the implementation of performance management systems: scheduling meetings, preparing the documents that will be used during the session, reporting after each session as well as creating of weekly and quarterly reporting with findings on the process.
- Assist in the creation of HR policies, update, and communication of each through our HR newsletters.
- Maintain leave tracker systems
- Assist our Labour Attorney with labor processes when clients require advice as well as arrange sessions to take place: hearings, inquiries, counseling, poor work performance reviews.
- Diebrief counseling sessions.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills (fluent in English)
Ability to use G-suite
Professional, eager to learn and grow.
Willing to go the extra mile to meet client needs
Self-starter, solution driven and fast learner
SA citizenship holder
What qualifications are we looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
Salary
You will be an Independent Contractor to the business with an hourly rate of R250. We start with 20 hours per month (which includes training time) and you will naturally log more hours of work as you get handed over responsibility over time.
Internship period
The internship will finish when you log 80 hours per month for 2 consecutive months, you will then become a permanent member of our team.
