- Maintains staff files (in close collaboration with plant-based administrator)
- Draw up Offer letters/contracts of employment
- Recruit new staff and co-ordinate the recruitment of staff
- Job Descriptions and KPIs
- Keep track of Performance Management, including benchmarking for annual increase remuneration
- Liaison with book-keeper on statutory deductions, leave and general processes
- Talent Management Strategy (tailoring skills for organization)
- Retention & Succession Plans
- Manage training and development initiatives - Assistance in acquiring skills development funding & implementation Skills Development programs (SETAs)
- HR Processes
- Handle conflicts, disciplinary actions and terminations Chairing Hearings
- Draw up Templates for HR processes
- Development of HR Policies and Procedures
- Once per month, attending a monthly plant-based meeting to contribute to the smooth operation of the plant and develop HR monthly report
