A fast-growing international scale up consultancy seeks a half-day candidate to serve as the primary point of contact for all HR matters related to employees. Responsibilities include overseeing various aspects such as job design, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development and talent management. Additionally the HR Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's adherence to labour laws. This is a remote half-day position (20 hours/week), potentially growing into a full-time role.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct orientation sessions for new hires and ensure smooth onboarding experiences.
- Handle employee relations matters, address grievances, and mediate conflicts.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
- Promote corporate values and shape a positive culture.
- Implement and oversee performance evaluation processes, providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Assist in the development of performance improvement plans and conduct performance coaching sessions.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge.
- Support career development initiatives and mentorship programs.
- Stay up-to-date with labour laws and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to maintain a healthy work environment.
- Administer employee benefits programs and address employee queries related to benefits and perks.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports for management review.
- Analyse HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- 10 years of HR experience with requisite qualifications
- Senior-level role reporting directly to the CEO
- Preferable experience in the technology industry
