- Ensure that all payroll instructions are prepared and logged in time for the monthly payroll run (for example: receiving and processing of onboarding documents from site, any contractual variations, new starters, leavers, contractual benefits and staff benefits), as well as, accurate recording, monitoring, and managing of the wages employee data base system.
- Assist employees to resolve any queries related to benefits administration.
- Assist with induction meetings for new employees.
- Ensure compliance of all personnel documentation with the internal policies and procedures and the availability of these records when required.
- Develop and provide various standard and ad hoc reports ensuring deadlines are met and information provided is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with the co-ordination and administration of recruitment.
- Assist with the efficient co-ordination and scheduling of employee training & development.
- Providing administrative support to the HR Department where required.
- Grade 12
- Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management or the equivalent is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in SAGE 300 People and ESS
- Knowledge of the various labour law acts
- At least 3 years HR experience in a similar role
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a demanding environment
- Proactive and the ability to predetermine required actions
- Ability to use own initiative
- Ability to ensure high accuracy and attention to detail
