Financial Manager

A well established manufacturing entity based in Pretoria is seeking a seasoned Financial Manager with a manufacturing industry background to join their team. This person will be reporting directly to the Financial Director of the Group and will be overseeing accounting processes and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports.
Bill of material implementation and management on SAGE Evolution system
Full financial month-end procedure
Full financial year-end procedure
Managing all financial monthly and annual statutory requirements to ensure legal compliance
Group Stock control management
Group Fixed assets management
Leading financial Audits internally and externally
Managing Intercompany transactions
Any other task as required by the Financial Director

Desired Experience & Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Member of a recognized professional accounting body in good standing
5+ years' experience in a similar role - manufacturing industry
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SAGE Evolution Accounting system
Extremely knowledgeable in accounting principles and taxation
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills, both orally and written
Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner
Outstanding integrity, solid moral judgement, and the ability to make important decisions under pressure.
