Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering
At least 5 years 'experience in drilling tools and open pit and underground mining related experience
Responsible for sales of wide range of drilling consumables/drilling tools and operational tasks including performance reviews, reporting and improvement projects across mining. The candidate should be ready to constantly monitor drilling tools operation efficiencies and work with Mining and GET/Drilling consumables departments to optimize the drilling tools; drill bits, hammers, drill pipes, subs to attain acceptable consumable's life.
Be in charge of all company's drilling tools on site
Provide drilling tools to clients without delays and account for stock.
Promoting the company's tools brand and drives sales to existing clients and identify and sign up new clients.
Lobby for more business and expand company's visibility on the client mine/operation site through Sales and Marketing, good Public Relations and initiative.
Hold business improvement/review meetings with clients and implement positive change.
Actively engage client supervisors and drillers to monitor drilling pressures, penetration rates and compile drilling data.
Work with the client consumables team to develop, implement and monitor business improvements.
Actively seek to develop new ideas and initiatives that have the potential to provide the company with efficiency, cost reduction and sales opportunities.
Engage client's tools department and work as a team to increase sales of drilling tools
Be able to conduct professional dull bits analysis and reports
Support production, GET and safety teams with proactiveness, and timely reporting.
Provide daily and monthly sales reports to the company
