- Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Comply with industry standards and safety regulations, including SANS and OHS regulations.
- Test HVAC systems for functionality, performance, and safety.
- Monitor and maintain refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Keep detailed records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports.
- Respond to emergency repair calls promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with clients and other team members to assess HVAC needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Ensure that tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or relevant technical qualification preferred or relevant experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
- A valid Code 08 drivers license
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
