Safe Professional Staffing Solutions (Pty) Ltd has a position for an ICT security officer, the candidate must have Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in ICT or Commerce, the candidate must have at least 5 years working experience in the same environment, the candidate must be CISM or CRISC certified.
The candidate will be expected to do the following;
- ICT Security:
Developing and implementing security standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse system environments;
Obtain information and formulate opinions regarding exposed violations through interviewing all levels of Staff. Identifying and assessing ICT security risk/exposure to new and existing infrastructure. Investigating and recommending appropriate corrective action for ICT Security incidents; Developing and maintaining security policies, controls and their compliance; Analyzing security incidents and the escalation of security events, Conducts investigation, analysis and review following breaches of security controls and prepare recommendations and appropriate improvements. Undertakes to bring to the attention of Management any actual or potential breaches in security.
- ICT Systems Change Management
Assist in the Assessment of the potential impact on existing access security mechanisms of specific planned technical changes, in order to help ensure that potential compromise or weakening of existing security controls is minimized. Also assist in the evaluation, testing and implementation of such changes.
Reviewing the development, testing and implementation of security plans, products and controls,
Conduct business risk assessments for most type of business applications an computer installations, recommends appropriate action to management.
3 Business Continuity:
Arrange and manage the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits. Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data at rest or while in transit between end point devices, servers and other systems including any data at rest on hosted, third party systems where ICT have been involved.
Establish, implement and maintain a business continuity management methodology (Including risk assessment, business impact analysis, strategy development, plan development, implementation) for the overall activities of the Centre; Assist all units in the development and implementation of Business Continuity plans.
Develop a business Continuity culture and as necessary, perform other tasks requested by the ICT Manager or designated superior in the interest of service.
