Regional CRM Coordinator

Role Purpose
The CRM team's vision is to operate a world class centre of excellence that supports our regional and local markets in crafting CRM programmes that deliver engaging, personalised client experiences across multichannel touchpoints during the client lifecycle.
To support this, we are looking to appoint a CRM Strategist to join a newly created regional CRM team to support the delivery of a future state CRM strategy for IG, with the aim of creating data-led communications across our clients' lifecycle. The role will work closely with our Group centre of excellence, as well as markets within the UK, APAC+ and Emerging Markets region to ensure that we deploy best in class CRM, localise standardised best practices and keep a keen eye on performance and continuous optimisation of our campaigns and journeys.
The role will report into the Senior Regional Marketing Manager and will work closely with local markets and agencies to execute on our strategy.
What Youll Do
- Support the rollout of our global and local communications strategy and roadmap by ensuring excellent and efficient delivery using our comms technology (Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Work with the Group CRM team as well as the local marketing partners to understand their objectives and inform & shape these based on operational capabilities.
- Co-create, along with the regional CRM strategist, end to end client communications. Design journeys, identify value opportunities, build emails, push and SMS and journeys and monitor performance to ensure continuous performance optimisation
- Help execute delivery of a pipeline of requests from stakeholders, ensuring all requests are well defined, prioritised, clearly understood, and delivered to the highest possible quality.
- Be a brand guardian and ensure that all communications are delivered according to IG's brand guidelines and brand experience principles
- Support our marketing colleagues across the UK, APAC+ and Emerging Markets region in adapting the global CRM strategy for local relevance
- You will also ensure wider marketing teams are fully upskilled in best practices in order to create an engaging, immersive communications experiences.

- Experience in activating strategy recommendations for CRM, building and activating customer journeys.
- An understanding of key CRM engagement metrics, and how to measure, test and optimise journeys and emails/SMS/push.
- A working understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other marketing automation technology
- Experience in HTML coding language for building emails a prerequisite. Knowledge of Java for building landing pages a bonus
- An understanding of GDPR and Data Privacy regulation
- A passion for learning, and a creative eye for detail
- Experience of the retail financial environment would be an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder, project management and collaboration skills

You'll be based in the Johannesburg office, but you will support stakeholders across the UK, APAC+ and Emerging Markets region, while working with members of the Group CRM team in London, Melbourne, and Bangalore.
We work a hybrid model, spending 2 days a week in the office together, and 3 days remotely.
