Sales Consultant

An Industry Leader Within The Financial Advisory Industry, Based In The GAUTENG PROVINCE Is Recruiting For Experienced, Qualified And Skilled Sales Consultant Remuneration

To be discussed during the interview process and to be based on commission structure, according to a percentage split between the Consultant and the Company.

Nature Of Employment

The successful incumbent will be employed on a permanent basis after completion of a probationary period.

Experience

The successful incumbent will have at least three (3) or more years experience as a sales consultant within the long term insurance industry

Formal Education And Qualifications As a Minimum Requirement
  • Matric
  • NQF level 4 qualification within insurance or assurance
  • Competent in insurance systems and related legislation
  • Must be computer literate on a basic to intermediary level on Microsoft software
  • Must have excellent negotiation and presentation skills and possess the ability to realise deals
  • Must have high initiative and entrepreneurial skills and must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to read and write in English
  • Business communication
  • Valid drivers licence code 8
  • Own transport and cellular telephone is mandatory

Responsibilities
  • Marketing of funeral products
  • Building and maintaining a client base
  • Keeping current clients portfolios up to date
  • Establishing professional relationships with clients
  • Managing of Sales Agents
  • Taking responsibility for the FAIS of the department
  • Providing statistics on the cancellation and follow up reports
  • Taking responsibility for the Compliance (Funeral Parlors, Agents, Brokers, etc.)
  • Implementation of Funeral Cover to Company personnel
  • Marketing of policy for overage dependents
  • Coordination and attendance of Consultant meetings
