The SCM Training Scheme (FOR MATRICULANTS)
Freight Forwarding, Logistics and Supply Chain Learnership aims to provide SIEMENS with a source of young SCM Talent. This opportunity this the perfect launch pad for your career and will maximise your career options in the world of Freight Forwarding, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. We do this by providing trainees with a structured training programme and on-the-job training for a period of 12 Months. Siemens trainees will receive the basis for further development and will be equipped with the necessary business skills for a rewarding and successful career within the company.
Providing a fast-paced and exciting journey into one of the most varied and fascinating sectors out there, you will experience the breadth and depth of a business that enables companies and individuals to make a real impact on what matters. The Freight Forwarding, Logistics and Supply Chain Learnership will allow you to tackle challenges in a supportive environment while taking you to the heart of your chosen career in SCM/Logistics. Upon completion of this programme, you will receive a National Certificate in Supply Chain Management coupled with hands on/on the Job Training.
What are we looking for?
Siemens is looking for self-driven and high performers to join the dual vocational training learnership that creates sustainable career opportunities upon successful completion. The 1-year programme incorporates the German Dual System, combining theoretical learning and practical experience. Trainees who demonstrate exceptional performance in their subjects and workplace will be considered for another year into NQF 4.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 25 years old
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Level 4 (50%) in English
- Level 4 (50%) in Maths
- Or Level 6 (70%) in Maths Literacy
- Excellent in calculations, including measurements.
- A top performer and savvy learner who can operate in a fast-paced global environment.
- Ready to juggle the demands of learning and working.

- A client-centric individual who values our clients business and can deliver exceptional service.
