Position Description
Job Purpose
We are looking for an Inbound Coordinator that will be reporting into the Logistics Manager and will be responsible for managing the process of receiving and processing incoming materials, supplies, and products in a company or organization. This role involves coordinating and overseeing the logistics of inbound shipments, ensuring that products arrive on time and are properly documented and tracked throughout the receiving and inventory processes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating the logistics of shipping and transportation, including arranging for the loading and unloading of cargo and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in order
- Managing the process from start to finish, including coordinating with other departments within the company as needed
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and other partners involved in the process
- Monitoring and reporting on export activities and performance, including tracking sales, analyzing market trends, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for logistics.
- Managing and optimizing transportation costs, including negotiating rates with carriers, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.

- Years of experience
- Thorough knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principals
- Experience with transportation and logistics software tools for managing documentation and tracking shipments.
- In-depth understanding of trade regulations and customs procedures
