Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the relationship with IT suppliers. Communicate with suppliers on an ongoing manner.
- Assist line manager in verifying monthly printer usage agrees with billing. Request update from Printer Supplier for printer usage per region. Ensure that replacement toner cartridges are available in all regions.
- Assist in managing the cellular & tablet contracts. Ensure timeous feedback and maintenance of information in the portal. Reconcile monthly rentals against Employee Tablet Schedule.
- Monitor outstanding calls on the ticket support portal and escalate where necessary.
- Provide telephonic support to staff requiring password changes and simple support queries.
- Proactively assist IT department with office administration and general assistance where required.
- Assist line manager with supplier monthly reconciliation of all IT accounts.
- Assist with quotes for new equipment, and process purchase orders in Navision.
- Assist with ad hoc IT projects as requested.
- Grade 12.
- IT Diploma or IT Equivalent experience.
- Administration course (Beneficial).
- N+ or A+ (Beneficial).
- 1 Year experience in IT.
