Successful candidates will contribute to optimal uptime of production environments and drive down negative business impact from technical issues by providing technical leadership, optimising the team's IT engineering practices, designing solutions for large projects across the organisation and planning for the future, collaboration with software engineering teams.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Release, maintain, and monitor production software products or infrastructure components that meet the design, business requirements and standards of Derivco.
- Monitoring of support queues and prioritisation of incidents according to predefined criteria.
- Investigation and resolution or escalation of incidents.
- Root cause analysis.
- Creation and configuration of alerts based on monitoring coverage requirements.
- Monitoring of system performance and identification of current and future potential issues.
- Planning of small to medium scale solutions based IT engineering projects.
- Completion of allocated work items on IT engineering projects.
- Creation and maintenance of documentation.
Academic qualifications in Computer Science or IT (advantageous).
Relevant vendor certification (advantageous).
5 Years + years hands on experience in IT Support and supporting technology systems.
