Responsibilities And Duties
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system and be familiar with all hardware and software and with network operating system
- Provide recommendations about accessing information and support
- Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources
- Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources, research current and potential resources and services
- Provide network accounts and passwords as required
- Install hardware and software systems
- Offer technical support on-site or via phone or email to personnel who experience problems with hardware/software
- Perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems and peripheral equipment for the purpose of keeping equipment functioning properly.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, and repair Printer systems for the purpose of keeping equipment functioning properly.
- Ensure that all computers are secured effectively by installing and updating antivirus software
- Escalate problems and issues to higher level of support, this includes services that exceeds response time, repair time, lack of parts, or any other issues for the purpose of providing excellent customer satisfaction
- Matric / Grade 12
- A+ certificate
- N+ certificate
- Valid driver's licence
- 1 to 2 years experience minimum
- Printer hardware troubleshooting (Taking apart and putting back together)
- Windows troubleshooting
- Desktop/Laptop hardware and software troubleshooting
- Must be able to interact with people
- Must be able to comply with deadlines
- Successful candidates must be goal driven
