Purpose
To plan, coordinate and manage processes required for the provision of ICT infrastructure and services as well as assure proper maintenance, support and life-cycle management thereof.
Main Responsibilities (not Limited To)
Develop the ICT Infrastructure and support model to enable business to achieve its goals and objectives.
Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategy that supports strategic objectives of business.
Gather, analyse and interpret customer needs in order to derive IT technical performance levels.
Manage performance and development of staff in the function and ensure adequate supply of appropriate skills.
Manage ICT infrastructure performance and support services in line with set service standards, measures, and business needs.
To contribute to the development and implementation of the desired Infrastructure architecture, in order to enable the delivery of ICT services.
Implement ICT risk, governance and compliance framework in order to protect the companys information assets.
Plan and manage development projects to include project planning and cost estimating
Design, implement and manage key systems and processes to achieve ICT infrastructure goals and objectives.
Develops and maintains SLAs for Centralised Operational support.
Manages technical support staff to ensure SLA standards are met
Manages centralised service desk providing ICT support to all departments in terms of
Manages the Database Administration and Maintenance support staff
Provide functional support to all stakeholders
Contribute in establishing ICT Governance Framework
