Infrastructure Project Manager

Our IT client is looking to appoint a Infrastructure PM for a 12 month contract in JHB! +/- 6 Years experience

The incumbent will ultimately ensure that projects successfully meet their objectives and produce the desired results to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time & cost and pursue operational excellence.

Hybrid 2-3 days in office

  • Projects are aligned to IT and group strategy and expectations
  • Adheres to PMBOK/Agile project methodologies/frameworks
  • Reporting timeous, accurate and compliant with best practice
Strategic opportunities identified and communicated to Stakeholders

Resources allocated to meet project needs

Project documentation as per the corporate IT PMO methodology

Continuous improvement of project disciplines
  • Customer Relationship Management
Internal relationships are built and maintained

Service excellence culture driven throughout the IT operations and services organisation

Customer / internal stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded
  • Business Partner Relationship Management
Terms negotiated to mutual benefit

Adherence to legal and procurement guidelines

Supplier managed to conform with relevant internal and external standards, policies and procedures, instructions, frameworks and guidelines

Supplier relationships maintained

Supplier risk identified and mitigated
  • Financial Management and Results
Budget is aligned to strategy and achieves the operational requirements

Financial compliance to company's accounting practices, policies and procedures (includes legislative requirements)

Budget is managed within PMO financial parameters and standards

Contingency requirements are identified and communicated

Budget forecasts are up to date and accurate
  • Risk Management
Risk plans establish and reduce the likelihood and impact of IT and business risks

Regular risk assessments with senior managers and key staff members performed to minimize risks

Risk remediation action plans have been recommended, communicated and controlled

Expectations managed as per project scope

Changes to scope are managed and documented as per the PMO governance requirements

Risk management processes reduce business risk
