- Assist in the wave of support can play a catalytic role in enabling the job transition (e.g., identifying innovative platforms with scalable impact to stimulate industries absorbing employment)
- Help the company to move from strategy to execution by identifying enabling projects and support the team in proposal development for large partnerships supporting jobs and livelihood creation
- Oversee ongoing projects and investments, including tracking progress and learnings, and ensuring quality of partners outputs and delivery against strategy.
- These projects include shaping a provincial employment strategy and supporting reskilling of workers in the energy system with renewable skills
- Develop and maintain a network of global partners and local partners critical to the jobs transition, working with these entities and individuals to design and implement projects and strengthen capabilities to deliver sustainable results over time
- Help develop and communicate insights and knowledge about the projects, innovations, and results of the company to scale and deepen support for the overall mission

The Executive Associate plays a pivotal role in the company's mission to advance and amplify equitable energy transitions in low- and middle-income countries. The role aims to expand energy access and generate employment prospects.
Working closely with both the South Africa country team and the global enabling platforms, the Executive Associate will oversee ongoing projects. Moreover, they will actively engage in coordinating efforts between the company, its alliance partners, and an extensive network of stakeholders within the social and public sector.
A key aspect of the role involves forging new partnerships that prioritize driving economic development and supporting improved livelihoods in South Africa.
