Job Description
This role is individually accountable for developing and implementing / generating adhoc and regular reports and dashboards for the OMiX Line 1 GRC function. Additionally, performing data extraction, manipulation and descriptive / exploratory data analysis. This role will also provide administrative, technical and integrated problem solving support to the OMiX Line 1 GRC function.
Data Analysis:
- Extract data from various sources, internal and external.
- Performs data manipulation and descriptive / exploratory data analysis.
- Performs data quality checks and validates results.
- Analyses data to support the OMiX Line 1 GRC function requirements. Ability to present the results of the data analysis in a form suitable for presentation, illustration and to highlight key ideas and trends, where applicable.
- Builds reports and dashboards to assist the OMiX Line 1 GRC function, including work on the ARCC reports.
- Should be able to work without supervision for repetitive tasks, but requires supervision for more complex tasks.
- Keep abreast with industry and OML Group framework changes and updates.
- CURA updates support for the OMiX Line 1 GRC function
- Co-ordinate and plan for the required risk workshops
- Co-ordinate the planning and scheduling for the quarterly ARCC boards, pre-ARCC and post-ARCC MD sign-off sessions.
- Co-ordination of other key OMiX Line 1 GRC calendar/ workshops/ risk update sessions etc.
- Compile draft minutes, agenda and actions log for the ARCC and other key risk engagements.
- General administrative oversight for the GRC Line 1 function
- Works collaboratively with business, other business units whilst remaining independent.
- Balances own priorities
- Creates a climate for optimal performance.
- Provide the necessary awareness among management and staff through guidance, communications, and training to ensure compliance with the companys framework and methodologies, including internal policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
- Acts as change agent within the business for the communication and implementation of risk management requirements and standards, and actively promotes embedding of a risk culture by the business in relation to decision making.
- IT/ Statistical related degree/ diploma or up to 2 years technical or data analysis related experience.
- Advanced levels of computer litercay, including MS Suite Office
- Basic understanding of governance, risk and compliance
- CURA System knowledge will be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially presentation skills and report writing
- Solid integration and analysis skills
- Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail is very important
