Inspector

Cotecna South Africa requires the services of Inspectors for positions at Glosam Mine in the Northern Cape area. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidates will play an important operational role, which involves strict attention to detail and a high level of responsibility and well as managing staff on his / her shift.

Main Accountabilities

Creating operational excellence through adherence to procedure and communication excellence.
Execution of inspection processes at high level of efficiency and accuracy
To plan, organize, co-ordinate and oversee the sampling, sample preparation operations and to maintain quality execution throughout the entire process whilst working within the framework of Cotecnas Quality system, HSE procedures and Compliance Codes.
Ensure continuous throughput in sampling and preparation operations in order to achieve set targets.
Prioritising workload with hands on approach ensuring that clients expectations is being met.
Take overall responsibility for timely and correct reporting of results to clients, both internal & external.
The incumbent will be expected to work shifts and weekends.
