Duties And Responsibilities
- Define and develop installation scope by understanding and evaluating the project requirements and meet the project schedule
- Develop of safe and efficient installation methods
- Collaborate with Project Manager to accurately forecast resource needs, and completion date for deliverables
- Ensure technical integrity and compliance with estimated costs and deadlines
- Ensure all installation deadlines are met
- Ensure technical best practice is used for all products and services installations
- Installation of HP, Cisco, Huawei, Mikrotik, Ruckus and Avaya products
- Install new network cables and cable systems
- Install fiber internet routers and related hardware
- Installing Broadband services (ADSL and Fibre)
- Replacing faulty network hardware components when required
- Grade 12
- N3 / N4 E Qualification
- Huawei Certifications (advantage)
- A+ and N+
- MS Office, MS Projects, Visio, Outlook, Google Earth, GIS
- A valid Drivers license
- Be willing to drive daily
- Be prepared to work overtime
- Proven work experience as an Installation Technician (3 years)
- Excellent communication skills (Speak, read, and write English)
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Planning, organizing and time management skills
