A leading short-term insurer in South Africa is seeking an insurance sales consultant with contact centre sales experience in their short term division.
Job responsibilities:
- Selling products over the telephone
- Maximise each outbound call received by attempting to turn it into a sale
- Achieve sales targets and objectives
- Adhere to quality and compliance processes
- Quality management of all outputs
- Productivity measures to be achieved
- Update call outcome information in system
- Manage information regarding new products, rate changes, ruling, training updates
- Keep abreast of developments and trend in industry
- Ensure commitment to the FAIS fit and proper qualification requirements
Job requirements:
- Matric qualification
- Relevant accreditation is required
- High level of computer proficiency
- Sales experience is essential
- Knowledge of short term insurance products
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
