Insurance Specialist

To assist a team of specialists that work very closely within IDM Protect. IDM Protect is part of the IDM group that assists clients with their Insurance and Financial Services (including Rewards). This individual will support IDM Protect to improve processes, systems and products so that IDM Protect can ensure that clients are with them forever.

The successful candidate will be part of the Financial Services Support team.

The candidate must be highly efficient, energetic, motivated and ambitious as well as being prepared to make a commitment to the business in the medium to long term. The candidate will be trained in tactical management, performing and preparing presentations, writing reports, strategic thinking, problem solving and analytical thinking.

IDM Protect Support Team

The Position Will Involve
  • User interface, System, Process and Product testing
  • Being part of a team responsible for driving efficiencies in systems, process and products
  • Work with IT, Projects and Development departments to create
    • Efficiencies
    • New Products
    • Processes
  • Find ways to effectively collaborate with teams within the group and partners. As well as any other IDM Support teams e.g. IT, Brand, projects etc
  • Work with Business to spec out future development ideas, and to work closely with Project team to allocate cost and timeline against development, and to translate Business requirements, while supporting execution in the Project / IT / Digital area.
  • Work with Business to define and articulate future enhancements to existing tools or creation of new tools.
  • Work with Project team to translate Business requirements, while agreeing on timelines and costs involved, while supporting execution in the Project / IT / Digital area.
  • Work with Support teams when issues need to be escalated and oversee until resolved.
  • Work with IDM Protect and its Partners to streamline leads to client funnels and processes.
  • Work with IDM Protect and its Partners to discover new ways of generating leads.
  • Be responsible for a subset of testing, training and reporting analysis

Key Responsibilities
  • User Testing
    • Design and execute comprehensive user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that products meet user requirements and expectations.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define test cases and scenarios that reflect user workflows and use cases.
    • Document and communicate user feedback, issues, and recommendations to the development team.
  • Systems Testing
    • Develop and implement robust system testing strategies to identify and address any defects in the software or hardware components.
    • Conduct integration testing to ensure seamless functionality across different system modules and interfaces.
    • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues.
  • Process Testing
    • Evaluate and validate business processes to ensure they align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
    • Create and execute test plans for business process testing to identify and rectify any deviations or inefficiencies.
    • Collaborate with business analysts to understand and document business process requirements
  • Product testing
    • Conduct thorough product testing to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
    • Develop and execute test plans for new features and enhancements, ensuring they align with product specifications.
    • Collaborate with product managers to understand and address product requirements and improvements..
    • Working with external vendors to reach business goals
  • Product development
    • Wordings, operational considerations and system requirements
