Integrated Scheduler

As the Integrated Scheduler you will ensure that the production and maintenance schedule is integrated to deliver the required outcomes in terms of the Routine Operating Schedule that will need to be inline with the Operating Model Principles.

The Integrated Scheduler role is responsible for ensuring that the production and maintenance schedule is integrated to deliver the outcomes of the Routine Operating Schedule (ROS) in line with Operating Model principles.

• Develop integrated schedules with a view of a 6 week period (mining and maintenance) to safely, efficiently and cost effectively meet short term production objectives
• Provide technical expertise to production teams to ensure effective optimisation of mining operations, planning processes and capabilities
• Manage work management schedulers to deliver section business targets including quality and volume and al related mining tasks
• Manage mining production and maintenance integration on Section manager and engineer level.
• Manage internal and external relations, including the interface with service providers, as well as other functions responsible for ensuring that business needs are met and employees are satisfied.
• Assist with external stakeholder requests if appropriate to ensure smooth and efficient running of mine planning processes to address and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Ensure that the expenditure remains within the approved budget to ensure effective cost control and savings

This role is in the Operating Model Department at a Band 6 Level reporting to the Senior Manager Operating Model

Qualifications

• BSc (Mining) or BTech - Mining Engineering or related qualification in Metalliferous Mining
• Mine Overseer Certificate of competency and/or Progressive career experience in OM planning, scheduling and integrated scheduler for at least 5 years (OM Specialist) will be advantageous

Experience:

• At least 5 years Underground Mine Operational experience as a Work Management Mining Planner/Scheduler
• Valid driving license code 08
• Please note if successful, you will need to undergo a Medical Fitness Test
